DIRECTIONS:
GAUGE
30 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) over Cable Panel B.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
STITCH EXPLANATIONS
4/4 LC (4 over 4 left cross) Slip 4 sts to cable needle and hold in front, k4, then k4 from cable needle.
One-Row Buttonhole
Bring yarn to front and sl next st as if to p. Take yarn to back.
*Sl next st from left hand needle to right hand needle, and pass first sl st over it; rep from * 3 more times.
Sl last bound-off st back to left needle and turn work.
Cast on 5 sts as follows: *insert right needle between the first and second sts on left needle, yarn over (to make a new st), sl this new st onto the left hand needle; rep from * 4 times more, turn work.
With yarn in back, sl first st from left hand needle to right needle, pass last cast on st over to stabilize the buttonhole.

Row 1 (RS): K1, *p1, k1; rep from * to end of row.
Row 2: K the knit sts and p the purl sts.

Wrap, including borders, is worked in one piece following written instructions or by following a chart.
When working from chart, read RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right.
The Set-Up Row is worked only once. Rows 1-10 on the chart are rep for the length of the Wrap.
Pattern sts are separated by markers for ease in working.
A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts. Work back and forth in rows on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Work in patterns as established until piece measures about 13-1/2″ (34.5 cm) from beg, end with a WS row as the last row you work.

Work in patterns as established until piece measures about 17-1/2″ (44.5 cm) from beg, end with a WS row as the last row you work.

Work in patterns as established until piece measures about 68″ (172.5 cm) from beg, end with a WS row as the last row you work.
Ending Border
Note: Remove all markers as you work the next row.
Row 1 (RS): Work Row 1 of K1, p1 Rib over first 5 sts, p into front and then k into back of next st, beg with a p1 continue in K1, p1 Rib to end of row – 101 sts at the end of this row.
Rows 2-9: Work in K1, p1 Rib to end of row.
Bind off in rib.
FINISHING:
With sewing needle and thread and following diagram, sew buttons to Wrap, matching placement of buttonholes.
Weave in ends.
